About the designer
Thomas Ullström is a wrought iron designer and blacksmith who lives and works in Åmål, an idyllic town at Lake Vänern, Sweden. He has a degree in art and design from Steneby art school. For more than fifteen years he has had his own blacksmith studio. His inspiration has many sources, among them the Viking period and old Nordic history in general. During the dark autumn and winter evenings his imagination is triggered by the fire and his works are born.
